Welcome to the Saxm website. Saxm is the name of the exciting new project comprising the development of a modern health centre, commercial units and housing, proposed for the 12 acre site situated inside the western border of Saxmundham.
The site is owned by Capital Associates (Saxmundham) Ltd, and an Outline Planning Application has been submitted to the District Council in April 2007. This seeks approval for the key principles of mixed-use development for the site. If outline planning permission is granted, we will follow this with applications for the details of our proposals, such as the design of new buildings and landscaping of the site.
Capital Associates (Saxmundham) Ltd is a UK registered company which has been established to acquire and develop the Rendham Road site. It is managed by property specialist, Tideway Investment Management Ltd, and is advised by one of the UK's leading planning consultancies, Nathaniel Lichfield & Partners.
In December 2006, an exhibition was held in the Market Hall to introduce and display the proposed mixed-use development to the people of Saxmundham and to encourage inquiries and opinions. This website is an integral part of the communication and consultation process to which we are committed. Updates on progress will be posted on the site.
