The site is currently being actively marketed for employment development. This continues to show that there is only limited demand for such uses. Importantly, there is no demand, from either a single business or several smaller ones, for the use of the whole site for employment purposes.
However, we have identified potential demand from a small number of local businesses for office and industrial / warehouse units on the site. We believe that the failure to provide a development based purely on employment use over the last 20 years demonstrates that limiting the site to this single use is not viable.
