Areas of public open space will be incorporated in the layout of the site and the northern part of the development will be set back from Rendham Road to provide a landscaped strip. A new area of playspace is proposed in the south eastern corner of the site. The existing footpaths running across the site will be retained, re-routed to the existing desire–lines for pedestrians crossing the site and significantly upgraded.
